The existing triangular roof emerges from a flat surface that surrounds the house and connects it with the nature. We can notice that this element has a strong presence with a function of also connecting the ground floor. The voids in this horizontal volume invite nature to enter and be part of the house’s experience.

This traditional 1970s house has been transformed into a minimalist oasis of space. The extension is highlighted by the black elements that contrast with the white existing house. The exterior façade is finished in black aluminium, which tapers off in a spiteful point. This provides a larger viewing angle from inside and a minimalist look.

Transparency is not just a feature; it’s a philosophy that courses through every element, blending the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. A glass conservatory at the back embraces the natural splendour of the water and forest, a panoramic view that feeds the soul.

Where old-world charm meets contemporary sophistication. An old and modest villa gains a new life and an imponent look. The expressive materials give uniqueness to the house and combine with the different facades create a seamless fusion between architecture and art.

The large-scale renovation of an existing home in Best has come about by chance. The original, very outdated house, built in the 1950s, was called for demolition by years of vacancy. Until one of our clients decided to purchase the house and renovate it completely.

For this renovation in Curaçao, the traditional Seru Boca style is transformed into a modern Miami style. The axis that continues from the front facade to the back facade and even into the water via the riser is central to this design. As a result, the entire house is connected to the Spanish water.
