Glass Extention

Glass Extention

In this design, four principles were guiding: building subordination, respect for the original architecture, a seamless transition between private and public, and above all, sustainability. The existing bungalow volume, a familiar sight in the street, will be retained, but with a contemporary twist. The tessellation of the original design is accentuated in our new vision.

Improved connection with nature

Transparency is not just a feature; it’s a philosophy that courses through every element, blending the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. A glass conservatory at the back embraces the natural splendour of the water and forest, a panoramic view that feeds the soul.

A marble staircase connected by timeless stone invites you upstairs, while a long corridor on the ground floor is illuminated by a soft glow of LED lights. The marble is brought from the exterior to the interior bringing with it an improved connection with nature.

Connection with nature

A new second floor emerges. This is not just a house, it is a journey. On one side a glass conservatory that allow us to be closer to nature and on another, a green wall paints the front facade and improves connection with nature.

Elegance and luxury

Minimalistic interior
Minimal and comfortable living

Enter an interior that artfully embraces minimalism, seamlessly intertwining luxury and elegance. Interior elements that bring natural elements to the inside. A second floor was added and the luxury goes up following the marble staircases.

Fireplace

There was only one element missing, fire here to warm up the space. It can be found on the right hand side when we go up the stairs.

Framed facade

A LED light contours a picture window, the front door and the garage framing the front facade giving it more strength.
